My ScanSnap isn't opening ReceiptWallet or DocumentWallet when I scan a document |

A number of users have reported issues whereby the ScanSnap Manager (which is properly configured to send the scan to ScanHelper, DocumentWallet, or ReceiptWallet) simply scans a document and doesn't do anything. These users are running Leopard. We have been able to reproduce this issue and believe it only happens on the first scan after launching the ScanSnap Manager. It appears that there is a bug in the ScanSnap Manager which doesn't send the correct AppleEvent required to open the scan. The only workaround is to scan a document once and leave the ScanSnap Manager running. We will try to contact Fujitsu about this to see if they have a resolution.
Update: Fujitsu has posted an update to their ScanSnap Manager software. Note, you need to turn off the QuickMenu feature. |
